SERIES BACKGROUND
This is where it all began. Back in 2003, using the PC sim known as Nascar Racing 3, a few of us had local events for PC racing. I began pestering some old friends who were also on our bowling team. I would say "We gotta get online with this game." Eventually they caved and this place began to take shape, week by week. We would meet for lunch and discuss how it was going to go. We hit the track running full speed with all kinds of new ideas based on what we did not like about other leagues. We decided to base our league and series on just being cool-headed, having fun, and being good sports. Simple as that.
The league has had its share of changes over the years but there have been a couple constants. Wed night Cup Racing was one of them. With the merge of NASCAR Racing 2003 Season, the league stepped up to the next level and has never looked back.
The series mirrors the Nextel/Sprint Cup Series as best we can. See the boys on TV at a particular track, race the same track on Wednesday night. We run 20 consecutive week seasons and 6 week off-seasons year round.
